i am primarily a wedding photographer, but every now and then i receive inquiries for portrait sessions. i was so excited when roberta reached out to me to schedule a portrait session in downtown los angeles! she is a usc student (woohoo #fighton!) who was looking for modern headshots and portraits to give her a professional look as she pursues her musical career.
capturing beautiful moments is the absolute best, but what makes my job as a wedding photographer so rewarding and special are the incredible clients i have the privilege to work with. lizzy and mike are two of the most loving people i have met, and i’m so excited to feature their wedding on the blog today! you may recognize them from their engagement session last year.
their tablescape and place settings were gorgeous and lizzy and mike’s day featured lots of DIY details–from the invitations and signage done by their family members, to the kintsugi vases that lizzy made herself! enjoy!
amy and david’s coastal wedding was so effortlessly beautiful. amy was a stunner with her bold red lip and her delicate, bohemian grace loves lace wedding gown. there’s just something about lace that adds a touch of romance to a wedding day. enjoy my favorites from their day!
i’m so excited to share grace & christian’s wedding with you!! i absolutely loved being a part of their wedding day, not only because of how caring they are as individuals and as a couple, but because their longstanding friendships were a reminder to me of my own. christian and grace met in high school, but it wasn’t until senior year that they started dating (they’re high-school sweethearts!). ten years after the days when grace used to pass notes to christian in their econ/government class, christian proposed. it was really sweet to see their lifelong friends share memories of their lives together at their wedding, and i knew they were a couple after my own heart when during their toasts, grace’s bridesmaids shared excerpts from her high school journal where she wrote that christian was “the one.”
the party went on into the night and concluded with a fun sparkler exit, which was perfect for their wedding on independence day! it was such an honor to share their day with them!
christian’s ring was engraved with his wedding date and his grandfather’s!
